This letter is to provide reference and recommendation for Sigrid Green, with whom we have had the pleasure of working during the sale of two houses.

Several years ago, just as the market was beginning to slide in California, we were having trouble selling our Cypress Ridge house and had had several nightmarish escrow fallouts during the six-month listing. Sigrid brought a buyer to us and we were finally in a successful escrow. Unfortunately, the buyer passed away just before the house was to fund, but Sigrid saw to it that escrow completed anyway.

She listed the house immediately and sold it in about one month, and got more for it than we did and we had it on the market for six months. A good realtor really does make a difference! We said if we ever moved again that we would use Sigrid Green as our agent, and we did, in 2010.

Sigrid is very computer-savvy and she put our house on several realty internet sites, and she provided us with a weekly site traffic report. In this difficult market, we had a buyer within one month. We couldn't believe it. Other houses in our neighborhood have been sitting on the market for 6 to 18 months.

Sigrid is not only computer smart; she knows her stuff when it comes to real estate. We have called her many times with questions regarding the purchase of our new home in another county, and she is always available, and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly.

We would be remiss not to mention her sidekick George Green, who helped us with a myriad of tasks, including blowing the leaves off our patio on a cold Sunday morning before an open house.

Dear Sigrid,

It is early in the morning and still dark outside. Sheerin is asleep so peacefully, and I am walking through this house, with feelings of love. This house .. which has become our home .. because of help from you and George.

I reminisce about how we first met you, by random chance, three years ago, visiting a listing we were driving by in happenstance. We were new to the Central Coast and knew so little back then, with hardly any friends.

I felt lost and uncertain and fearful that we would never be able to buy a home. But you changed all that and have been our guiding light ever since. You still are, even until today.

Though you were bone tired, you were always there for us, bringing us to properties day and night and on weekends. You put up with my phone calls and emails, even though they were late in the evenings, and while you were on vacation. From start to finish, you anticipated every need, every potential concern, and every responsibility, in watching out for our safety, well being, and success. Your diligence and sense of organization is unparalleled. And to top it all off, your advice was golden .. ever so sharp .. ever so wise.

And then, there's your considerateness, which was so comforting. The moment you sensed that we had misgivings about one property or another, you respected our feelings and instincts, and you helped us move on to the next.

Sheerin and I felt so taken care of .. and ultimately .. so safe.

And then .. there was George .. your wonder of a husband .. the walking encyclopedia .. the man who can fix anything.

Whenever he speaks, I learn.

He gets right to the core of the solution. He is so astounding and so selfless about sharing his time and knowledge. I could listen to him and his Shakespearean way of speaking, all day long.

As I turn my head, I see that dawn has broken outside, and I am gazing at our kitchen, bathed in the beautiful morning light. And, in the middle of the kitchen, standing tall like twin silver towers, is the stainless steel refridgerator that you and George gave us. It reminds us of you both everyday.

I can never forget how George painstakingly delivered the fridge here .. all by himself .. and how he removed both doors so he could squeeze it through our doorway, and then reassembled everything in perfect condition. That was a whole day job. A work of science and art.

Last night, as I did the laundry, I kept shaking my head in pleasant wonder about how we now have a washing machine and a dryer, and how we no longer need to drop quarters and clean up other people's lint.

Again, this was made possible by you .. and no less by George .. bringing them here .. wrestling them through the doorway .. and installing them beautifully.

A lot of times, I think about life and wonder why things happen and why things don't, and more often than not it remains a mystery guided by destiny and hopefully by a divine hand.

What I do know for sure is that Sheerin and I have been blessed to meet you and George in this lifetime, and we remain grateful to you both, always.
